On Cereal and Cold Weather

I got some fruity pebbles, and I'm sitting on the porch. A few days ago kicked off the start of 'Autumn'. Not really the fall equinox, but the Autumn weather. The sun is warm, but the breeze is cool and constant. I remark to my mother "This is apple cider weather." I remark to my beloved "This is the weather memories are made in."
And some of my favorite memories have happened in the fall. There's something about it that gives me a feeling of peace. It's a momentary respite from the oppressive heat of Texas summers, and it's still an island of hope before winter arrives. It seems life moves the quickest during the Fall. Why, I will never know. It just does.
There's something about this weather though, what it does to my emotions. It sparks something inside of me, something, something something,
What that something is?
Well, I believe that if I knew, it would ruin the magic.

I want nothing more than to be in her arms, sitting on her porch, singing songs and laughing too loudly. I want nothing more than to be older and married.

Oh well. Maybe someday.
